Decathlon is a French multinational retailer specializing in sports equipment, clothing, and footwear. It operates over 1,700 stores across 70 countries and sells products under more than 70 in-house brands. Decathlon has announced plans to integrate UCP to open its product catalog to AI shopping agents.
Decathlon's catalog spans over 100 sports disciplines with tens of thousands of SKUs. The UCP integration is designed to expose structured sport and activity attributes in the catalog payload, so agents can filter by sport, level (beginner, intermediate, expert), and budget in a single query. An agent helping a consumer kit out for a new sport can query Decathlon's endpoint and return a curated equipment list across multiple product categories.
Decathlon's store stock integration is also part of the planned rollout. For items with same-day availability at a nearby store, the UCP checkout flow can offer click-and-collect alongside home delivery. This is a capability most e-commerce-only merchants cannot offer.
