eBay is integrating UCP as part of its push to make its marketplace accessible to the next generation of AI shopping agents. With 1.9 billion live listings across virtually every product category, eBay represents one of the highest-inventory UCP integration targets available.
The UCP implementation covers eBay's fixed-price listings initially, with auction support being evaluated separately. Sellers on eBay gain automatic UCP exposure through the platform integration without any additional setup, similar to how Shopify merchants benefit from the platform-level integration.
